Transcript
If Yellowstone blows…
We lose more than Wyoming.
Beneath the park sits a supervolcano—one of the largest on Earth.
Its last major eruption happened 640,000 years ago.
And if it erupted today?
It wouldn’t be lava that kills us.
It would be ash.
Enough to bury cities in feet of volcanic dust—
Collapse roofs.
Shut down airports.
Poison crops.
Models show ash falling as far as New York.
Global temperatures would drop.
Supply chains would snap.
Famine, economic collapse—worldwide.
And the scary part?
There’d be warning signs, yes—earthquakes, swelling ground, rising gases.
But if it goes full force…
We can’t stop it.
We can only hope it doesn’t happen in our lifetime.
